Ann G. Borgström DDS, a native of Sweden, earned her dental degree from the University of Gothenburg Dental School and is licensed to practice dentistry in New York State. In family practice as a Canandaigua dentist since 1993, Dr. Ann Borstrom specializes in providing her patients with minimally invasive, long-term aesthetic solutions in a caring environment. She recently completed the Kois Center comprehensive nine-course curriculum involving aesthetic, occlusion, and restorative dentistry. This curriculum is built upon Dr. John C. Kois´ mission statement: “Enabling motivated dentists to achieve extraordinary levels, expanding both knowledge and application skills in restorative dentistry.” Each Kois Course is continuously modified to include the latest research and newest innovative protocols. A lifelong learner, Dr. Borgstrom has devoted extensive time to advancing her skills and education. more Her staff routinely seeks new knowledge and attends frequent trainings to update their skills.
Dr. Borgstrom lives in Bloomfield with her husband, dog and cats. They have two grown children. When she is not busy helping families with healthy teeth, she enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, yoga, the arts and seeing friends.

Kara, who’s been with us for more than 14 years, brings to the job her love of people and her ability to explain dentistry extremely well. Kara has an associates degree in Dental Hygiene and is also certified to give injections, using Nitrous Oxide and improving your periodontal health with the use of laser. Our teen and young adult patients relate especially well to Kara with her gentle, friendly manner. She is also very helpful in explaining orthodontics, tmj and restorative procedures to our patients.
A native of Canandaigua, Kara lives with her husband, Tim, and their two sons, who keep them busy with football, lacrosse and soccer. She enjoys being active in her community and brings that passion to her work.
Stacie,is one of our Dental Hygienists/Dental Assistant. She has 11 years of experience in the dental field with training in family dentistry and endodontics.Stacie has an associates degree in Dental Hygiene and is also a Registered Dental Assistant. She maintains over 20 hours of continuing education every year.
Stacie resides in Shortsville and in her spare time, she is busy as a Cub Scout Den Leader, enjoys reading, walking and spending time with her son.
Our two certified and exceptional Dental Assistants have taken extra courses and exams to perform expanded duties.
Meg has been with us for 12 years. An integral part of our practice, she loves to share her passion for dentistry with our patients.
Meg can make anybody relax with her humming, jokes and stories.
A New Jersey native, Meg lives in Penn Yan with her husband, Joe. They have two grown children. She enjoys reading, playing cards, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
Kristy has been in dentistry for 7 years and has been working with Dr. Borgström since April, 2011. She is a dental assistant in our office and understands that your comfort is our primary concern.
Kristy is a native of Canandaigua and is married with two sons, Quinten and Lucas. She enjoys reading, writing and pursuing her education.
Naomi is our warm and friendly Office Manager.
Normally the first voice and face you encounter when contacting us, Naomi welcomes everyone to our Canandaigua dental practice with her friendly manner and wonderful smile.
Naomi has worked in dental offices for over 24 years, first as a dental assistant and later as a front-office manager. She can explain dental procedures as well as answer your dental insurance questions.
Naomi, her husband Tim and son Luke live in Canandaigua.
She enjoys house projects, hosting friends and family and reading in her spare time.
